We styled the kids in our new Joy + Love Fall/Winter Collection and just had them be themselves! It was so much fun at the Julian Mining Co.  They climbed on large rock boulders, panned for gems, made birdhouses, and ate freshly picked apples.

We also think it's a great backdrop for fall family photos. The warm autumn colors in the trees, really give the photos a fun and festive fall feel.

Living in California, we lucked out this year with all the record-breaking rainfall, which gave us some pretty amazing flowers along the hillsides. Naturally, we thought of taking our Spring/Summer mini lookbook shoot to the outdoors.

Are the kids on Pinterest and Instagram for real? How are they dressed up so perfectly when my 2-year old toddler won't even change out of her pajamas without a temper tantrum?  As a mom, I want my kids to look great, but I get that it's not practical to buy clothes that kids would only wear once. I want clothes that I can be easily mix and match with what's already in their closet.
